SERVICE PROJECTS

The Kiwanis Club of Naples participates in monthly service projects, as well as annual and on-going service projects. A few examples are shown below.
Avalon Terrific Kids
Terrific Kids is a student-recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem and perseverance. “Terrific” is an acronym for Thoughtful, Enthusiastic, Respectful, Responsible, Inclusive, Friendly, Inquisitive and Capable.
From January to April, each year, over 100 students from Avalon Elementary School are deemed and honored as "Terrific Kids." In May, all of the "Terrific Kids" are recognized once again during a pizza party.
Adopt-A-Precinct
The Adopt-A-Precinct program is a public/private partnership with the Collier County Supervisor of Elections office. Groups “adopt” a precinct by providing volunteers to staff elections for an election cycle and are paid for their work. This projects lets the Kiwanis Club of Naples serve our community while having fun and raising money for the club. It’s also a great team-building opportunity and learning experience!
